Channel Style, Raised Track, Channel with a Raised Track, Mounting Channel
Chain guides are available in the channel style, raised track, and as a channel with a raised track. These chain guides are also available as inserts for mounting channels. The channels are available as galvanized or stainless steel. A mounting channel is welded or bolted into place and allows the UHMW to expand and contract without buckling.
Chain Guides Available in Several Grades of UHMW
All of the standard chain guides are available in several grades of UHMW: black repro – for lower cost; oil-filled UHMW for higher speed; green repro which matches the European guides; static-dissipative for conduction purposes; and HT for high temperatures up to 275 degrees.

ANSI Roller Chain Guides
Power transmission chains are widely used throughout the world in a variety of applications, including drive, tension, shuttle traction and transmission reduction operations. Because of its widespread usage, certain standards are set to ensure that pitch, width and other key characteristics of chains and sprockets are standardized. In the U.S., power transmission chains must meet ANSI B29.1
